Is it fast?
Yes. Our Day Pass uses high-performance dedicated AMD EPYC series vCPUs.
What about Internet connectivity?
We lock down all the ports that are known for malicious activity, however, you can connect over port 80/443 without restriction. So that means you can use Git, VS Code, and other developer tools without any issues.
How long does setup take?
~10 minutes from payment to RDP access.
How do I get an Invite Key?
We are currently restricting access to ensure platform stability. You can request a key by contacting us directly. One key allows the creation of one account.
Do I have to spend time configuring it?
No. Every workstation is pre-configured with a bunch of developer tools like Visual Studio, Python, Git etc. Find out more on our Technology page.
What is the Day Pass used for?
It's built for those "I-need-a-Windows-machine-right-now" situations. Perhaps you're caught working from a low-powered Chromebook when an urgent client request comes in, or your local laptop just can't handle a heavy compilation task, the Day Pass gives you instant access to a robust, 8-core AMD EPYC powerhouse.
Can I extend the time?
Yes. You can extend it for additional 8 or 24 hour periods from your dashboard: Just click the "Extend" button and it's done.
Where is my data hosted?
Physically in London or the EU (France). Your data never touches US-owned infrastructure, ensuring full sovereignty.
Do I need a Microsoft Account?
No. Unlike Windows 365, we don't force you into Entra ID (Azure AD). You receive a standard Local Administrator account, just like a physical PC.
Can I install my own software?
Absolutely. You have full Root/Administrator access to install VPNs, proprietary tools, or custom drivers.
How do I connect?
We provide a secure RDP file compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux. Power users often install Moonlight or Parsec for low-latency streaming.
Can I use Moonlight / Sunshine?
This feature will be available soon.
Is there a minimum contract?
24 hours or 8 hours (depending on the workstation type). That's it. After this, your workstation will automatically be stopped and deleted and billing stopped with it. You can extend it if you want.
Can I convert a Day Pass to Monthly?
Not at this time although this is a service we plan to offer later.
Do you plan to offer other specifications?
Yes. At the moment, we're keeping things small to ensure that we can perfect the service. Once we have, we'll extend the offering to other specifications.
When will the Monthly workstations be ready?
At this time, we're concentrating on the Day-Pass. Once this is rock-solid then we'll get the monthly series up and running.
Why use Windows Server 2022?
It's basically Windows 10 LTSC under the hood: Imagine you could take Windows 10 and remove all the unnecessary bloat like OneDrive, CoPilot, XBox, Ads, and Telemetry. That's Windows Server 2022, optimized for performance and privacy.
Is Windows Server 2022 faster than Windows 10?
Yes. While Windows 10 is efficient, it still carries significant consumer background overhead. Our customized Server 2022 image removes thousands of telemetry triggers and bloatware services, providing a leaner, more responsive kernel for developer tools.
Why not use Windows 10/11?
Microsoft's licensing for consumer Windows is extremely restrictive for independent cloud providers. Beyond licensing, Windows 10 and 11 are increasingly 'noisy' and bundled with consumer bloat, mandatory AI tracking, and background services that compete for your CPU cycles. We use a hardened Server 2022 kernel to give you a pure, high-performance developer sandbox that respects your privacy.
